About SceneSource
SceneSource is an online marketplace that connects people who have props, vehicles, locations, studio spaces, equipment, and other creative resources with individuals or organisations seeking these resources for film, photography, and other creative projects.
SceneSource provides the platform that allows users to create listings, discover resources, and communicate with one another. SceneSource is not a party to agreements made between users.
User Accounts
To access certain features of SceneSource you may need to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and for all activity that occurs under your account.
You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your account information up to date.
Listings
Users may create listings for items, vehicles, locations, equipment, or other resources available for hire or use.
“To help keep enquiries and transactions within the platform, external website links are not permitted within listing descriptions. Any third-party links or URLs may be automatically removed by the system. Users are welcome to list items individually for sale or hire directly through SceneSource.”
You are responsible for ensuring that the information provided in your listings is accurate, lawful, and does not infringe on the rights of others.
SceneSource does not verify or guarantee the accuracy of listings posted by users.
Transactions Between Users
SceneSource enables users to connect and communicate with one another. Any agreements, rentals, bookings, or other arrangements made through the platform are solely between the users involved.
SceneSource is not responsible for the performance, conduct, or obligations of users in connection with agreements made through the platform.
Insurance
Users are responsible for ensuring that any items, vehicles, equipment, locations, or other resources listed or hired through SceneSource are appropriately insured.
SceneSource does not provide insurance coverage for items, spaces, or activities arranged through the platform. Users should ensure they have appropriate insurance cover in place for damage, loss, liability, or accidents where relevant.
Users are responsible for confirming that adequate insurance arrangements are in place before entering into any agreement.
User Responsibilities
Users are responsible for ensuring that their listings and activities comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Users must ensure that items, vehicles, locations, and equipment listed on SceneSource are safe, legal to use, and accurately represented.
Users are also responsible for verifying the suitability of any item, space, or equipment before entering into an agreement with another user.
Acceptable Use
Users must not use SceneSource for unlawful activities or to post misleading, fraudulent, or harmful content.
Users must not attempt to interfere with the operation of the platform, access other users’ accounts, or misuse the platform in any way.
SceneSource reserves the right to remove listings or suspend accounts that violate these terms.
Intellectual Property
All content, design, branding, and materials associated with the SceneSource platform are the property of SceneSource unless otherwise stated.
Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute platform content without permission.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, SceneSource shall not be liable for any loss, damage, injury, or dispute arising from interactions or agreements between users of the platform.
SceneSource does not guarantee the accuracy, safety, legality, or reliability of listings posted by users.
